In February, 2011, His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa Trinley Thaye Dorje visited Hong Kong for the second time. Gyalwa Karmapa’s official program in Hong Kong ended with two sessions of teaching on the topic, “What is Buddhism?” which were attended by more than 1,500 devotees from over the world. He started out with a general presentation of the topic, but soon invited his audience to share any questions and comments they might have, emphasizing that a two-way exchange was usually more fruitful and interesting than a traditional one-way teaching. The audience made ample use of this invitation, and a lively exchange on a large variety of topics ensued.
Given the diversity of subjects addressed, the DVD menu offers the possibility to select questions by sub-topics.
