The Tibetan & Himalayan Library includes collections of images, maps, and texts. It houses a key Tibetan language translation tool and other reference materials, including an archive of the Journal of the International Association of Tibetan Studies (JIATS). It emerged from the University of Virginia and integrates scholarship from a range of sources.

The Tibetan Buddhist Resource Center
The Tibetan Buddhist Resource Center is a non-profit committed to preserving and disseminating Tibetan literature, founded by the late E. Gene Smith, an important scholar and archivist. The center emphasizes the urgency of preserving a fragmented, fragile body of literature through digitally scanning texts and making them broadly available.
